Broward

Program Overview and Funding Sources

The AHF Healthcare Centers offers Disease Case Management overseen by a Registered Nurse so that education, treatment adherence and support are available to patients. Non-Medical Case Management ensures that access to community resources are available.

Together with fully integrated Outpatient Ambulatory care, clinical laboratory services, and expert benefits counseling to ensure patients can navigate their medical insurance seamlessly, the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Healthcare Center is truly your Medical Home.

The Broward County area is a Ryan White Part A Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) and a designated priority region for the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative, both administered locally by the Broward County Ryan White Part A Program.

To maximize our community impact, AHF pairs these regional Part A and EHE resources with the state-administered Florida Ryan White Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) and flexible 340B program savings. This unique combination allows AHF to actively invest in facility infrastructure, expand local outreach, and ensure life-saving medications are dispensed at our on-site pharmacies with zero out-of-pocket costs to the patient.
